DIAMOND CERTIFICATE

The diamond certification process for both natural and lab-grown diamonds is similar. Expert gemologists evaluate the diamond’s 4C’s - cut, carat, colour and clarity- using advanced technology. At MDIAMONDS, we get our diamonds certified from a reputable lab DGLA (Diamond & Gem Laboratories of America). This certification guarantees transparency and trust offering you complete confidence in its value and authenticity.

THE 4CS OF LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS

Optically, chemically, thermally and physically identical to mined diamonds, our lab-grown diamonds are held to the same standards of beauty and quality, known as the 4Cs: cut, clarity, color and carat.

  • CLARITY

    Refers to the presence of any internal or external imperfections. Lab-grown diamonds are often of high clarity, with fewer visible inclusions compared to natural diamonds. Our lab-grown diamonds are VVS-VS / VS-SI clarity.

  • CARAT

    Carat refers to the weight of a diamond, not the size. The higher the carat, the larger the diamond. This directly impacts the size and price of the diamond.

  • CUT

    Refers to how well the diamond has been shaped and faceted, influencing its brilliance and sparkle. A well-cut diamond reflects light beautifully, enhancing its overall appearance.

  • COLOUR

    Lab-grown diamonds are graded on the same scale as natural diamonds D to Z. The more colourless a diamond, the more valuable it is. Our lab-grown diamonds are colourless and near colourless- E-F / F-G.

Yes, lab-grown diamonds are a 100% real diamonds. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, created in a lab using advanced technology. They offer the same brilliance, durability, and quality, certified by reputable gem labs.

How are lab-grown diamonds made?

Lab-grown diamonds are created by two main methods, HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) and CVD (chemical vapour deposition). Held to the highest industry standards, our lab-grown diamonds are masterfully crafted and certified in accordance with the 4Cs – cut, colour, clarity and carat – ensuring the exceptional quality of each of our lab-grown diamonds.

Are lab-grown diamonds more affordable than mined diamonds?

Created in laboratory above the ground, lab-grown diamonds have a very different supply chain than mined diamonds. This enables to offer an extremely high-quality product at an exceptional value.
